Star Wars “Clone Wars” Takeover | SF
Cartoon Network, Comcast and Parkmerced are collaborating on a Star Wars Clone Wars takeover. Stop by to meet our life-size Clone Wars Troopers and take pictures in front of a green-screen. First 500 to arrive get free prints of their pictures. There is also a raffle for Clone Wars giveaways and the first 50 people to sign up for the Costume Contest win free lightsabers.
The Big Rumble: Earthquake Preparedness Fair
Four San Francisco neighborhood communities in partnership with City departments and the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management will set up neighborhood fairs with a preparedness theme. Quake cottage; Fire Department equipment on display; The Rumble Preparedness Map; activities; giveaways; preparedness supply vendors; Red Cross; The San Francisco Department of Public Health and other City departments will be on hand to pass out information and answer any questions. Information will be available on H1N1 as well.
